ATS based CV/Resume writing tips

Here are some tips to help you navigate the Applicant Tracking System (ATS):

Use keywords: Many ATS software use keyword matching to filter out resumes. Make sure to include keywords that match the job description and the skills required for the position.

Customize your resume: Customize your resume for each job application. Tailor your resume to match the job description and include relevant keywords.

Use simple formatting: Use a simple and clean format for your resume. Avoid using images, tables, and graphics that can confuse the ATS software.

Highlight your skills and accomplishments: Use bullet points to highlight your skills, accomplishments, and job responsibilities. This makes it easy for the ATS software to read and extract information.

Avoid using abbreviations and acronyms: Spell out abbreviations and acronyms to make it easier for the ATS software to understand.

Keep your resume length in check: Keep your resume length to 2 pages or less. Longer resumes may not be fully read by the ATS software. P

Proofread your resume: Check your resume for spelling and grammatical errors. Many ATS software can filter out resumes with errors.

Save your resume in the right format: Save your resume in a plain text format like .txt or .doc. Avoid using  other formats that can confuse the ATS software.

By following these tips, you can increase the chances of your resume being selected by the ATS software and reaching the human recruiter.
